This commission was realised by Siân Shakespear who:
- developed concepts for several items including eye-catching panels displaying artwork produced by local schoolchildren which stand on sculpted metal legs, rubbings as part of a rubbings trail, public art totems to provide a sense of arrival, colourful mural, carved timber sculptures and audio excerpts of birdcalls and commentry based on real life stories
- organised drop-in sessions in order to gather memories and material
- researched and prepared text for all items
- supervised sub-contractors to design, produce, deliver and install all items
